Come to St. Camillus for an afternoon of Reflection and Prayer on Immigration. Confrontation? Compassion? Compromise? Does the Immigration Debate have you running in circles? Are you confused? Let’s get together for reflection on November 10, 1:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the Fr. Grace Chapel of St. Camillus Church. Includes talks such as “What does scripture have to say”? – Fr. Larry Hayes, OFM; ‘What do the bishops tell us’? – Deacon Peter Barbernitz, DMin; “What Franciscan values can we bring to the debate”? – Joan Conway. Closing will be a prayerful procession to the 6:30 p.m. Spanish Mass. For more information call Joan Conway 301-345-5025; joanmarieconway@yahoo.com or the friary 301-434-8400. Please RSVP by November 5th if possible so they can plan for handouts.
