Greenbelt’s chapter of Chesapeake Climate Action Network invites you to come hear scientists tell us why we have to act now to solve Global Warming. Chris Barnet, a Greenbelt resident and atmospheric scientist will present a slide show entitled Understand Global Warming: Where Does it Come From? What Can You Do? Other local climate change scientists will comprise a panel of experts to answer your questions.
Also join us to let Governor O’Malley know that you support the Maryland Global Warming Initiative, a strong science base solution to Global Warming. Other speakers include Greenbelt Mayor Judith “J” Davis, Brad Heavener of Environment Maryland, and State Senator Paul Pinsky.
