The Many Faces of Our Human Family: A Catholic Perspective on Immigration, an Arlington Diocese conference is being held on Saturday, September 22 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Falls Church.
The gathering, co-sponsored by the Diocese of Arlington’s Spanish Apostolate, Peace and Justice Commission, Office of Multi-Cultural Ministries, Office of Family Life, Virginia Catholic Conference, Catholic Charities and the Office for Migration and Refugee Services, begins with 8:30 am Mass. The keynote speaker, His Eminence Cardinal Theodore McCarrick will follow the Mass.
The conference agenda also includes a presentation by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Justice for Immigrants staff. Several related workshop opportunities will follow lunch.
